After the head of the Outlook application for Android and iOS became the head of the Cortana development team, information began to appear that the voice assistant was being integrated into the mail client.

What is known

A source familiar with Microsoft's plans told The Verge resource that the integration of Cortana into Outlook is now undergoing an internal check. And if the results are satisfactory, then the voice assistant will appear in the beta version of the application. The reports also say that Cortana will be able to read and send mail. This is convenient, especially when driving a car. Such innovations, unequivocally, will be appreciated by users. But, unfortunately, not with us. After all, the voice assistant still does not speak Russian.

When to expect

It's too early to talk about the release of the beta version, let alone the final version of the application.
