Insider: all four iPhone 16 models will get A18 Bionic processors

Apple has been releasing regular iPhone models and Pro versions with different generations of processors for the past few years. It looks like that's going to change next year.

Here's What We Know

According to insider and analyst Jeff Pu, Apple plans to skip the A17 chip in the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus and will immediately install a new A18 processor in the smartphones. If the information is confirmed, but the devices will get a significant performance boost.

As for the top models of iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, they are likely to run on the A18 Pro processor. By the way, according to the leak, the A18 and A18 Pro chips will be built on TSMC's second-generation 3-nanometre process (N3E).
