Sometimes modders do wonders. As today, when a craftsman under the nickname NightmareDoors reworked the mechanics of the legendary game StarCraft II, turning a linear strategy into   horror with   various plot outcomes.

Horror?

Exactly! It is called   "Dead Zone - Hope Lost " and   looks at   surprise is organic. The player has to play for   terrans who are trying to survive on   a planet where an unknown virus rages. The game looks like a cross between the first part of Fallout and   Resident Evil and   little reminiscent of   his ancestor. A talented modder redrawing the texture, drew many new objects, added a change of time of day and   pumped AI   enemies. Is not   speaking of   that he   registered three nonlinear storylines on   25 chapters with   five variants of endings!

How much changed the gameplay can be viewed in   this video. The "Dead Zone - Hope Lost " itself can be downloaded from   link and set as mod over "StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void". While this is a demo version , a full-fledged game is promised closer to   end of 2018.

20 years old StarCraft

By the way, in   March of this year the old man turns 20 years old. By   This occasion will be a noble banquet called " Interplanetary anniversary " with   a lot of different activities. A   on   birthday itself 30   March in   Twitch will be a special broadcast, and   after the documentary " StarCraft is   Life: A   Celebration » with   dense dose of nostalgia for   the best moments for   story series.
