It's about the ability to use several WhatsApp accounts on one device at once, like Telegram. The innovation so far works only for users of Android smartphones.

To create a second WhatsApp account, you will need a second phone number and a SIM card or a phone with multi-SIM or eSIM support. Next, you need to go to the app settings and tap on the arrow next to your name, select "Add Account" and follow the instructions.

You'll be able to set up notifications and privacy features for each account.
