Here's What We Know
A few days ago, during a visit to China, Vladimir Putin, president of the Russian Federation, announced the relocation of fourth-generation MiG-31K fighter jets to Crimea to patrol the Black Sea. The aircraft are the only carriers of the Kh-47M2 pseudo-hypersonic missiles.
Satellite images from 15 October 2023 show the fighter jets already deployed in Crimea. Along with them, Su-27 and Su-30 aircraft can be seen at the Belbek airfield.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine have already carried out several massive strikes on Russian military facilities in Crimea. In particular, the S-400 air defence systems, the Rostov-on-Don submarine, several ships and aircraft were destroyed. Therefore, the Belbek airfield will become a target for Ukrainian missiles and drones.
