The famous anti-hero Venom from the Marvel universe has become the main antagonist of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 action game, which was released today.

However, Venom may go for a promotion and become the hero of a separate game.

Narrative director of Insomniac Games studio Jon Paquette in an interview with Insider portal made it clear that the developers do not exclude the release of a game about Venom.

After the release of Marvel's Spider-Man 2, the studio will take a short break for a rest, after which they will start discussing the development of the franchise, including the idea of a spin-off about Venom.
