The first image of Assassin's Creed: Codename Red's protagonist may have been released online
Senior writer of the Assassin's Creed franchise Pierre Boudreau posted an image on his LinkedIn page that caught the attention of gamers.
Here's What We Know
The small art shows a girl in a costume similar to the Assassins' garb, her head is covered by a recognisable hood and in her hand is a katana.
The red background, Japanese pagoda and Assassin's Creed logo clearly indicate that we are looking at a character from the upcoming action game Codename Red - the working title of the next part of Assassin's Creed in the setting of feudal Japan.
Earlier insider Tom Henderson reported that the game will have two main characters, one of which will be a girl shinobi. It is probably her face that we see on Pierre Boudreau's page.
When We Can Expect It
Assassin's Creed: Codename Red is expected to release in 2024 on modern platforms only
