Remedy's community manager assured that Alan Wake 2 will work well on consoles, as these versions have received a lot of attention
On 20 October, Remedy published the system requirements for Alan Wake 2. Some gamers began to write that the requirements were too high, as the game requires an RTX 3070 graphics card to play at 1080p and 60 fps. Another part of them began to worry that such requirements might indicate that AW 2 would not work well on PS5 and Xbox Series, but Remedy's community manager spoke about the situation on consoles.
Here's What We Know
Thomas Puha wrote on Twitter that the team paid a lot of attention to the console versions. Therefore, the game should work well and look incredible on all platforms. Later, Thomas wrote that he plays Alan Wake 2 only on the console, and this version has good quality.
As a reminder, the game has two modes on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X: 30 and 60 fps. On the Series S, Alan Wake 2 works only in 30 fps. It also became known that the consoles do not plan to support 40 fps mode on 120 Hz screens.
When We Can Expect It
Alan Wake 2 will be released on 27 October on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
