Almost every Rockstar Games game has been a technological breakthrough and raised the bar of quality for the entire industry.

GTA VI, according to insider information, will not be an exception.

Here's What We Know

Rockstar Mag portal, which specialises in information about the famous studio's games, reported that thanks to significant improvements to the RAGE physics engine, GTA VI will be one of the most technologically advanced and realistic games of our time.

According to insider information, Rockstar Games has significantly increased the realism of water surfaces, which will be important, because, most likely, the events of the new part of the game will unfold on the ocean coast.

Improved engine technologies will allow to more reliably display the damage of cars and the influence of various factors on the behaviour of vehicles during driving. For example, in the rain the car will skid, and their tuning will affect not only the appearance, but also the technical characteristics and feelings of the gamer.

By the way, the developers pay special attention to weather conditions, trying to make it so that every change of weather affects gameplay.

Summarising all of the above, Rockstar Mag concludes that the technological leap from Red Dead Redemption 2 to GTA VI will be much more noticeable and significant than the one that was observed between GTA V and RDR 2, and between these games, it should be noted, there was a huge difference in physics and engine capabilities.
