Confirmed: the Redmi K70 series of devices will get a top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor

As it turns out, apart from Xiaomi, realme, iQOO, OnePlus, OPPO and vivo, the Redmi brand is also preparing to release smartphones with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.

According to the official poster of the manufacturer in Weibo, we are talking about the Redmi K70 lineup. There is no release date for the new products yet. Presumably, the devices may be shown in December or January.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip is built on TSMC's 4-nanometre process. The SoC has 1 Cortex X4 core with a maximum frequency of 3.3GHz, three Cortex A720 cores at 3.2GHz, two Cortex A720 cores at 3.0GHz and two Cortex A520 cores at 2.3GHz, as well as an Adreno 750 GPU. According to the manufacturer, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 boasts of a 30 per cent faster CPU and 25 per cent faster GPU.
