M3 chip and upgraded stand: insider reveals new version of iMac to be unveiled at end of October presentation

Bloomberg journalist and insider Mark Gurman shared details about the new 24-inch iMac model.

So, according to the informant, the main innovation of the computer will be the processor. Instead of the M1 chip, the new iMac will get the M3 SoC with improved performance and energy efficiency.

As for the design of the device, it will remain the same. Apple is only going to update the arrangement of internal elements, as well as redesign the computer stand. The iMac will come to the market with new colours.

The release of the new iMac will take place at the Scary Fast presentation at the end of October.
