Lord of Hatred is making a comeback? Dataminers believe they have uncovered information about the first major expansion for Diablo IV
Blizzard is known to be working on at least two major storyline expansions for Diablo IV.
The first details of one of the expansions may have become known.
Here's What We Know
According to the portal WccfTech, data miners have examined the files of the test alpha version of Diablo IV 2.0 and discovered, as they assume, the name of the first addition.
The DLC may be called Lord of Hatred, and its protagonist will be the demon Mephisto. Fans have linked it to the plot of Diablo II and believe that the events of the addition may unfold in the location Kurast.
The developers may introduce in Diablo IV some elements from the game of 2000 (for example, the use of mercenaries), add new options, as well as offer gamers another class of characters, which in the alpha version files is mentioned as Spiritborn. Fans believe that under this name there is a Shaman hiding.
So far all these data should be taken as a guess, but the ending of Diablo IV opens a lot of space for the continuation of the story. In addition, Mephisto takes centre stage in the new game, so it is logical to continue his storyline.
