It's even harder to survive now: Amnesia: The Bunker has received a Halloween update that adds a new level of complexity and innovations that will allow you to customise the game for yourself

Frictional Games has released a free Halloween update to Amnesia: The Bunker. It adds a new level of complexity and changes to the gameplay, which the player can customise.

Here's What We Know

The game has two new modes: Shell Shock and Individual. The first one, according to the developers, will present a real challenge to horror fans. The second one will allow you to customise the game thanks to 30 different innovations.

These changes mainly affect the gameplay, but most of them can be tried only after the first playthrough.

List of the main innovations:

• New enemy behaviour that increases unpredictability
• New health system. The character loses health when bleeding, bandages stop bleeding but do not restore health. First aid kits stop bleeding and restore health
• More randomness: cabinets, combinations, and various items are located in random places
• Saving progress costs fuel
• The fuel depot is now locked and has its own combination located somewhere in the Bunker
• Revolver is not available from the start
• The safe room is no longer safe
• New level "Training Ground" where you can practice your skills
• To restore electricity, you will have to switch on the light in each of the bunker areas

The game has also been updated with various bug fixes, gameplay improvements, and support for 120 fps on PC.

Amnesia: The Bunker is available on PC, PlayStation4/5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series. The game has 78 points from players and critics on Metacritic.
