The Finnish developer Tero Parviainen fed hundreds of known drum parts to the neural network and   created a virtual drummer who knows how to think out bits on   based on short sketches of the user.

Neural networks that know how to write music   Is one of the   trends in recent years. But   somehow it so happened that most of these developments remained for   closed doors, and   maximum that we   were given   Is a reference to   YouTube with   music, which seems to have been written by a neural network. AT   Unlike   Neural Drum Machine   Is an open project with   friendly interface. AND   anyone can try it.

How it works

Neural Drum Machine works right in   browser on   link . AT   On the left side of the screen, we have a short section on   4 notes and   9 drum elements like a barrel, cymbals, snare drum and   shaker. Everything that's needed   - is to put the right combination of notes and, when the result is right, click on   button with   an arrow that separates the screens of the drum machine . At the bottom of the screen there are additional settings such as the length of the drum pattern, speed and   degree of congestion.
