Xiaomi 14 Pro - Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Leica cameras, 120Hz WQHD+ display and 120W charging priced from $685
Xiaomi 14 Pro smartphone has been announced in China. It will be the main flagship of the company until the release of the Ultra version in 2024.
What is known
The Xiaomi 14 Pro is not much different from the standard edition, which has also already been unveiled. Both smartphones have a triple 50 MP + 50 MP + 50 MP + 50 MP main camera, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, 32 MP selfie module, stereo speakers, NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, IP68 water protection and HyperOS software.
The Pro version gets a more advanced display. The TCL C8's AMOLED TCL C8 panel has a WQHD+ resolution and diagonal. It has retained support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and 1-120Hz refresh rates. The brightness hasn't changed either (3000 nits). Another small difference concerns the main camera. In the standard module, the Leica Summilux lens has an aperture of f/1.42 instead of f/1.6.
Xiaomi 14 Pro is equipped with a 4880 mA*h battery. The capacity has increased by less than 10 per cent compared to the Xiaomi 14. The power of fast charging by wire has increased from 90W to 120W. But wireless charging has not changed, amounting to 50W. But this is the maximum power allowed.
