NASAMS munitions, AIM-9M missiles, Javelin APCs and artillery shells: US announces new $150m military aid package for Ukraine

The United States of America, following Denmark, has announced a new military aid package for Ukraine.

Here's What We Know

The new arms package is estimated at $150m. It includes:

• Additional ammunition for the NASAMS SAM system;
• AIM-9M missiles for air defence;
• Stinger anti-aircraft missiles;
• Additional ammunition for HIMARS MLRSs
• 155mm and 105mm artillery shells;
• Optical Guided Missiles (TOW);
• Javelin anti-tank systems;
• Over 2 million rounds of small arms ammunition;
• Night vision devices;
• Obstacle Breaching Ammunition;
• Cold weather gear;
• Spare parts, maintenance and other support equipment.

Deliveries of the weapons will begin shortly.
