Apple, a day after the release of iOS 17.1, has released the first test build of iOS 17.2.

Here's What's New About It

The new version of the software received a lot of small but useful changes. First of all, the Journal app has finally been added to the firmware. It was announced with iOS 17 back at the WWDC 2023 conference. With the help of the programme, users can record their daily actions and thoughts. Apple offers additional prompts that can be used as inspiration.

Apart from this, iOS 17.2 Beta 1 also brings a few new features for Apple Music. For example, the app has introduced collaborative playlists as well as playlists with your favourite music. The developers have also added the ability to launch the translator using the Action Button, a new Digital Clock widget, a slightly updated Apple TV app, and more.

When We Can Expect It

iOS 17.2 Beta 1 can already be installed by users with a developer account. The open beta version of the software will be released in the coming days.
