Stock image service Shutterstock has unveiled a set of tools powered by artificial intelligence for photo editing.

Here's What We Know

One of the new features is Magic Brush, which allows you to make changes to an image using a brush and text prompts. There's also a tool to expand the background of a picture and an auto-zoom feature.

That said, content created or edited by AI will not be licensed on Shutterstock to protect the rights of original authors. If an edited photo is subject to licensing, the author will be compensated.

According to the head of Shutterstock, this is an unprecedented offering for the industry and opens up new opportunities for creating unique content. The company also plans to update its AI image generator with OpenAI's DALL-E model.
