Feel a bit: Swiss scientists have taught the robot to dance
Robots have not yet captured humanity, but scientists have already taught them to celebrate the victory. Researchers from the Swiss Higher Technical School of Zurich have taught a four-legged robot to dance.
What is known
ANYmal listens to music and even perceives bits from 80 to 146 BPM. He analyzes the speed of music and its tact, and then uses the harvested patterns of movement for the dance.
To test the dancing ability of the robot, scientists used different compositions: U2 - "With or Without You", Beyonce - "Halo" and Daft Punk - "Get Lucky". The robot followed the rhythm of the tracks and even slowed down when needed.
"Probably the best part: the song changes to Macklemore -" Can not Hold Us "and the robot starts stomping with the foot in time," the researcher commented.
