Activision has released detailed system requirements for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and they are up from the previous instalment

The release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2023) is approaching.

Activision and developers from Sledgehammer Games studio presented detailed system requirements of the game.

Here's What We Know

As always, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2023) will require powerful hardware, especially for those who plan to play at high graphics settings and participate in cyber sports competitions.

The requirements have increased significantly even compared to the 2022 game.

System Requirements

Minimum requirements (multiplayer only)

  • OS: Windows 10 (64 bit);
  • processor: Intel Core i3-6100 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200;
  • graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 / GTX 1650 or AMD Radeon RX 470;
  • video memory: 2 Gbytes;
  • RAM: 8 GB;
  • DirectX: 12;
  • high-resolution texture streaming space: up to 32 Gbytes;
  • disc space: 79 GB on SSD (34 GB if Call of Duty HQ Launcher is installed).

  • high-resolution texture streaming space: up to 32 Gbytes;
  • disc space: 149 Gbytes on SSD (78 Gbytes if Call of Duty HQ and Warzone Launcher is installed).

  • DirectX: 12;
  • high-resolution texture streaming space: up to 32 Gbytes;
  • disc space: 149GB on SSD (78GB with Call of Duty HQ and Warzone).

Competition Requirements ("Ultra 4K")

  • OS: Windows 10, 11 (64 bit);
  • processor: Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X;
  • graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti / RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon 6600XT;
  • video memory: 10GB;
  • RAM: 16GB;
  • DirectX: 12;
  • high-resolution texture streaming space: up to 64 Gbytes;
  • disc space: 149GB on SSD (78GB with Call of Duty HQ and Warzone).

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2023) supports ultra-wide monitors, resolutions up to 4K and all the most advanced technologies including DLSS 3, Reflex and Ricochet Anti-Cheat.

Settings of the new shooter assume up to five hundred different options that will help to make the game comfortable for everyone.

When We Can Expect It

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be released on 10 November on PC (Steam, Battle.net), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series.
