Samsung has unveiled the $3000 Odyssey Ark 2nd Gen curved gaming monitor

Samsung has released the second generation of the Odyssey Ark gaming monitor. The model turned out to be more expensive than its predecessor.

Here's What We Know

Samsung Odyssey Ark 2nd Gen is equipped with a 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) curved panel with 165Hz frame rate and 1ms response time. The radius of curvature is 1000R. The quantum dot panel supports HDR10+ Gaming and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.

The monitor is capable of displaying images from four sources simultaneously (out of three in portrait mode) using Multi View technology. For connectivity, there are two HDMI 2.1, one HDMI 2.0 and one DisplayPort 1.4 connectors. The audio system has 60 watts of power.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Samsung Odyssey Ark 2nd Gen has been priced at $3000. The monitor was $300 more expensive than the first generation model, but it is now available with an additional $900 discount, so the price difference is $1200.
