Biggest budget, completion of all the stories started and new storylines: an insider has revealed new details about the next Resident Evil instalment
Authoritative insider Dusk Golem has repeatedly shared information about the next part of the Resident Evil franchise.
The informant does not leave his subscribers without interesting information and in his Discord-channel revealed a new portion of interesting details about Resident Evil 9.
Here's What We Know
According to Dusk Golem, the next part will be the biggest-budgeted and longest-developed of all Resident Evil games. Work on it began in 2018, and the release will not take place until 2025.
Capcom has high expectations for Resident Evil 9, so it is investing heavily in the creation of the game.
Dusk Golem believes that Resident Evil 9 is not a direct sequel to Resident Evil 8, as was the case with RE7 and RE8. Despite this, Resident Evil 9's storyline will intertwine with Resident Evil Village for a logical conclusion.
In addition, the developers will bring other storylines in the franchise to a conclusion so that new stories can be started at a later date.
Resident Evil 9 is in a sense both the final and opening chapter in Capcom's eyes.
