Apple has unexpectedly announced a new version of its AirTag software.
Here's What We Know
The information was shared by our colleagues from MacRumors. The firmware received the build number 2A61. It will be distributed to devices in stages. Today, 1 November, 1% of users will get the OTA, and on 7 November it will roll out to 10% of users. On 14 November, another 25% of users will get the update, and on 28 November it will become available to everyone.
Unfortunately, Apple didn't reveal the list of software changes. We can only assume that the company's developers have fixed bugs and worked on optimising the system.
