Turkish company Baykar Makina continues to test its new Bayraktar TB3 drone.

This time the UAV has passed flight tests. The information was shared by Selçuk Bayraktar, the head of the company, on the social network Twitter. The drone successfully took off, stayed in the air for 4 hours and returned to the runway without problems.

Bayraktar TB3 is the Turkish company's new drone. It is the successor to the Bayraktar TB2 and differs from it with larger dimensions, slightly modified appearance, and folding wings. Thanks to them, the drone can be based on ships. For example, on the flagship aircraft carrier of the Turkish Navy TCG Anadolu. The drone is powered by a new turbo-diesel aircraft engine. Bayraktar TB3 has a maximum takeoff weight of 1450kg with a payload of 280kg. Preliminarily, the drone will be able to stay in the air for up to 50 hours.
