Insider: Galaxy S24 flagships and other top Samsung smartphones will get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip for Galaxy with a 1GHz GPU

Chinese insider Ice Universe has revealed that Samsung is working on a special version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor for its top-end devices.

Here's What We Know

We are talking about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip for Galaxy. The novelty will receive Adreno 750 graphics, which will run at a clock speed of 1 GHz. For comparison, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy in the Galaxy S23 smartphones has Adreno 740 graphics at 719 mHz. In other words, the clock speed boost will be 28 per cent. Unfortunately, there is no other information about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chip yet.

When We Can Expect It

The processor should be released alongside the Galaxy S24 flagships in early 2024. Incidentally, the Galaxy Fold 6 and Galaxy Flip 6 foldable smartphones will also get this chip.
