The tactical role-playing game Wartales has been released on Xbox Series. It is also available in the Xbox Game Pass catalogue

Shiro Games and Shiro Unlimited have released Wartales, an open-world tactical RPG for Xbox Series and Windows consoles, and the game is immediately available on Xbox Game Pass.

Wartales combines tactical role-playing and sandbox gameplay in a medieval open world. The game lets you lead a band of mercenaries seeking fame and fortune in a land ravaged by war, plague, and banditry.

You can explore the world, recruit companions, collect rewards, and uncover the secrets of ancient tombs. Throughout the game, you will also customise the skills, equipment and appearance of your group and engage in turn-based battles with various enemies

The game has been available on PC in Early Access for some time, and in April, the game came out of Early Access with the official release of version 1.0. The game also recently made its debut on the Nintendo Switch platform.
