A few days after the announcement of the P20 / P20 Pro in Paris, Huawei introduced the budget smartphone Enjoy 8.

What is known

The device is very similar in design to other devices of the company. He has a 5.99-inch HD + display with a ratio of 18: 9, over which there are all kinds of sensors, an 8 megapixel front camera and a talking speaker. Under the screen can be seen the inscription Huawei. On the back there is a fingerprint scanner and a double camera peephole at 13 Mp and 2 Mp. The second module is designed to create pictures with the effect of "bokeh".

The Snapdragon 430 chip is responsible for the performance of the novelty. The smartphone will be available in several configurations: 3/32 GB and 4/64 GB. The device runs on the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system, which is covered by the EMUI 8 shell. In addition, Enjoy 8 has a 3000 mAh battery, a dual sim slot and a microSD card up to 256 GB, a face scanner and a 3.5 mm audio output.

Price and when to wait

The novelty has already gone on sale at a price of 1299 yuan (~ $ 206) for the configuration of 3/32 GB, but for the older one with 4/64 GB will have to give 1,499 yuan (~ $ 238). If we talk about competitors, then this price category includes Xiaomi smartphones, for example Redmi Note 5 , which will be better in terms of performance.
