Users of OnePlus 6 will be able to get rid of the "visor" of the smartphone

After the release of iPhone X smartphone manufacturers rushed to do "visors" in their smartphones. The trend was also picked up by OnePlus, the fans of which were vigorously embracing the design decision.

The company's executive director Pete Lau looked at the OnePlus forum to appease the fans. He confirmed that OnePlus 6 will get a sensational "visor", but users will be able to get rid of it. Lau explained that the issue is solved programmatically by darkening the side portions at the top of the display. The same chip will get and Huawei P20.

The only downside - the ability to hide the visor will appear after the release in future updates. The very same OnePlus 6 will be released in June. Some characteristics are known: 8 GB of RAM, 256 fixed and Snapdragon 845 processor.
