Bloomberg: Apple is working on a rounded screen and new management gestures for the iPhone

Apple often comes up with new features and capabilities that later adds to their smartphones. For example, a 3D Touch or a new design with a cutout on the screen with a lot of sensors for Face ID. And now, according to Bloomberg, the company from Cupertino is working on a rounded display and new gestures of control.

What is known

According to Bloomberg, the company is developing a special OLED panel with rounded edges. But, unlike Samsung smartphones, Apple screens will have them not on either side, but on top and bottom. In addition to the new display, the company began developing technology for special gesture controls. It will allow users to interact with the smartphone without touching the screen, but only lifting their finger a few millimeters.

When to expect

If to speak about new gestures, they are still at an early stage of development and, most likely, it is not necessary to expect them in the next generation of iPhone. But here's a new OLED panel can get the iPhone X Plus, which is rumored to be equipped with a 6.5-inch screen. Earlier it was also reported that Apple will show several models that will receive support for two sim cards.
