OnePlus recently released a beta version of OxygenOS for OnePlus 5 and 5T based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Now the Chinese manufacturer has announced yet another version of the firmware.

What is known

The update weighs 1.6 GB. The most important change in the firmware was the availability of the April security patch. Also added a few interesting innovations. There is a mode for headphones, in which you can turn on the ability to autoplay music when you connect the headset, change the sounds for notifications and broadcast information about incoming calls. Perhaps the company is preparing its smartphones for the announcement of wireless headphones, which, incidentally, recently passed bluetooth-certification. In addition, the manufacturer slightly changed the design of the application "Clock".

When to expect

Participants in beta testing can already install a new firmware on their smartphones. There is no information on the final release yet. But there is a chance that it will be held together with the announcement of OnePlus 6 at the end of this or at the beginning of next month.
