Apple prepares users to disable 32-bit applications
Apple began the migration path to 64-bit applications, notifying users and developers about the termination of support for 32-bit software.
What is known
Mac OS 10.13.4 users will receive alerts about the termination of support for 32-bit applications. Thus, the company wants to encourage developers and users to migrate to 64-bit software. The exact date of termination of support is not, but if it happens, you will find out about it - the application will stop working.
Users can test the compatibility of 64-bit applications. To do this, go to the "Apple Menu", select "About This Mac", "System Report" and scroll down to "Software". After selecting the application, you will see in the field "64-bit (Intel)". If there is a "Yes", you're in luck. Otherwise, you need to update the application. Apple recommends contacting the developers directly for the new version.
