Flagship smartphones Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 + have thin frames around the screen and unlike other top devices, they do not have a monobrovy like the iPhone X. But according to the company's new patent, in the future everything can unfortunately change.

What is known

According to the resource Mobielkopen, Samsung patented the design of a smartphone with a cut-out, like the iPhone X. The photos show a device with a screen that does not have frames, but there is a cutout at the top. It has a front camera and sensors. Behind, in the left corner you can see a double, horizontally located, main camera. From the bottom you can see a USB Type C connector, a speaker grille and a 3.5 mm audio output. It's strange that the device does not have a fingerprint scanner. Perhaps it will be placed under the screen.

When to expect

The device on the images can be the company's next flagship. And if this is true, then its announcement should not be expected this year.
