OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T received the final version of Android 8.1 Oreo

Company OnePlus at the beginning of last month released a beta version of Android 8.1 Oreo for its flagship devices OnePlus 5 / 5T. And now the manufacturer officially announced the final version of the firmware.

What is known

The update weighs 766 MB. First of all, the April patch of security was installed in the firmware. In addition, slightly improved OnePlus Launcher, added the possibility of blocking auto brightness in games, changed the color accents and design of the system. Also, it became possible to choose the style of the watch for Active Display. Still added control gestures, but only for OnePlus 5T.

When to expect

So far, a new version of the firmware is available only to a certain group of users. But within a few days OTA-update will appear at all.
