Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) received an upgrade to Android 8.0 Oreo

Samsung has released Android 8.0 Oreo for the smartphone Galaxy A7 line of 2017. Prior to this update, the younger Galaxy A5 and A3 models began to receive updates.

Actually, the list of changes for all A-series devices is identical. The smartphone has refreshed the shell - now it's Samsung Experience 9.0 with new styles Always On Display, shortcuts for applications for long clicking on the icon, improvements to the online storage Samsung Cloud and keyboard with the search for hyphae. Among the Android Oreo chips are notification channels, limiting applications in the background and supporting AAC and Sony LDAC codecs in Bluetooth at the system level. The update also includes April security fixes.

The size of the update is 1.3 GB. The distribution of firmware for Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) began with individual regions, so some smartphones will receive it a little later. You can speed up the process by force-checking the availability in the "Settings"> "About the device" section.
