Motorola has opened the source code for the Moto G6 Play

Motorola recently introduced two lines of smartphones: Moto G6 and Moto E5 . Devices are not yet available for purchase, but the company has already published the source code of the core of one of them - Moto G6 Play.

What does it mean

This means that now third-party developers can quickly release "custom" firmware for the smartphone. For example, based on LineageOS . The "sources" of the Moto G6 Play core are available in the repository on GitHub. Most likely, in the near future the manufacturer will publish codes and other novelties.

Characteristics

Let's remind, Moto G6 Play has received 5. 7-inch display   from   resolution HD + (1440 × 720p) and an aspect ratio of 18: 9. For the "heart" of the smartphone is the Snapdragon 427 processor. In addition, it has 2/3 GB of RAM, 16/32 GB of internal memory, and a 4000 mAh battery and a 13 megapixel main camera.
