vivo S18e - Dimensity 7200, 120Hz display, 50MP camera with OIS, NFC, stereo speakers and Android 14 priced from $295

Chinese company vivo along with the S18 smartphone has introduced a cheaper model. It is called vivo S18e.

Here's What We Know

The smartphone received a Full HD+ display based on an AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and brightness up to 1800 nits. The screen has a diagonal of 6.67", an inbuilt fingerprint scanner and a cutout for a 16MP front-facing module.

The resolution of the main camera in the vivo S18e was 50 MP + 2 MP. The main module has an optical image stabilisation system and is based on Sony's LYT-600 image sensor.

The vivo S18e packs a Dimensity 7200 chip with Mali-G610 MC4 graphics. The processor supports 5G and is complemented by 12GB of RAM. The storage capacity was 256/512 GB depending on the modification.

The battery with a capacity of 4600 mA*h received support for 80W fast charging. The list of specifications also includes USB-C, stereo speakers, NFC and Android 14 with OriginOS 4 firmware. The body of the smartphone is IP54 water and dust resistant.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The vivo S18e will be available on 13 January 2024 in 12/256GB and 12/512GB variants priced at $295 and $320 respectively. There is no information about the release of the smartphone outside China yet.
