Insider: in a few days, EGS will give away remasters of cult shooters Quake and Quake II to gamers

From 20 December to 10 January, Epic Games Store plans to give away 17 games to gamers.

The giveaway will take place daily.

Authoritative insider billbil-kun reported that one of the giveaways will especially delight fans of retro shooters. According to his information EGS will offer gamers remasters of two cult games: Quake and Quake II.

This will probably happen on the 23rd of December.

As a reminder, Bethesda released Quake re-releases recently, implementing support for modern technology and improving all elements of the games. In Quake II added a set of additional levels from MachineGames studio - the author of modern parts of Wolfenstein. The remasters received high marks and excellent reviews from gamers.
