Upgraded DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 works up to 60% quieter
DJI released an improved version of its Phantom 4 Pro drones. There are not many changes to be considered a new generation, so the quadrocopter was called simply Phantom 4 Pro V2.0.
What's new?
The dimensions of the UAV remain the same, even a camera with a 3-axis suspension and a 1-inch 20-megapixel sensor is the same: 4K-video is supported at a frequency of up to 60 frames per second with a bitrate of 100 Mbps. But thanks to the updated propellers and speed regulators engineers managed to reduce noise by 4 dB. The tests showed that in the DJI room Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 works at 60% quieter.
Another innovation is the transition from Lightbridge 2 to the more advanced video-link technology OcuSync, which was first introduced in Mavic Pro. It provides transfer of video to the console in 1080 / 720p format, while the standard Phantom 4 Pro can only 720p. The range is 7 km for the USA and 4 km in accordance with European standards (operate in our latitudes).
The quadrocopter became 13 grams lighter at a total weight of 1.375 kg. On one charge DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 will last 30 minutes in the air. The maximum speed of the flight is 72 km / h in sports mode and 50 km / h with an active obstacle detection system. Front and rear sensors detect objects at a distance of up to 30 meters, and lateral ones - up to 7 meters.
How much is?
The price remained at the same level, for DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 it starts from 1700 euros. The version of Phantom 4 Pro + V2.0 (with a remote control equipped with a 5.5-inch display) costs 2000 euros, and sets with video glasses DJI Goggles will cost 450 euros more.
