PCGamesN talked to studio boss David Anfossi and asked about the future of DeusEx. Good news - the series is not dead. Anfossi explained that the game remains a "studio brand", but developers have something to do.

"Deus Ex, of course, is a studio brand. We are all connected with a franchise, but we can not do everything, you know? Now we have Shadow of the Tomb Raider, working with Crystal (Dynamics) on Avengers and another third game in development. So this is enough for us, "he said.

According to rumors, the third game is based on the "Guardians of the galaxy." The developers did not make an official announcement, but it is known that the work on the project has been going on for more than a year.

If Deus Ex remains alive despite the launch, the Thief series is not so lucky. Anfossi repeated that Eidos leads three projects and does not plan on "The Thief". This does not mean that the series has gone into oblivion, but a new part will not appear soon.
