"The Ace Attorney series will not stop," assures producer Kenichi Hashimoto
In 2019, Phoenix Wright was reissued: Ace Attorney Trilogy, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, which came out in the West a few years later, and later this week Apollo Justice will be released: Ace Attorney Trilogy, but despite the fact that there's no shortage of Ace Attorney re-releases, the last time we got a new game in the series was back in 2016 with Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice.
Here's What We Know
So how much longer will we have to wait for the next Ace Attorney game? The answer to this question remains unclear, but according to the producer of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy producer Kenichi Hashimoto, the franchise is still in Capcom's plans. In a recent interview with 4Gamer, answering the question about the future of Ace Attorney, he said:
"At this time there is nothing to talk about, but we have gained a lot of knowledge about the RE Engine. I can say that the Ace Attorney series will not be stopping, so in that sense I think you can look forward to what is coming.".
Where To Play
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy is scheduled for release on the 25th of January for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
