"The Ace Attorney series will not stop," assures producer Kenichi Hashimoto

In 2019, Phoenix Wright was reissued: Ace Attorney Trilogy, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, which came out in the West a few years later, and later this week Apollo Justice will be released: Ace Attorney Trilogy, but despite the fact that there's no shortage of Ace Attorney re-releases, the last time we got a new game in the series was back in 2016 with Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice.

The answer to this question remains unclear, but according to the producer of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy producer Kenichi Hashimoto, the franchise is still in Capcom's plans. In a recent interview with 4Gamer, answering the question about the future of Ace Attorney, he said:

"At this time there is nothing to talk about, but we have gained a lot of knowledge about the RE Engine. I can say that the Ace Attorney series will not be stopping, so in that sense I think you can look forward to what is coming.".

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy is scheduled for release on the 25th of January for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
