Sony has shared a list of the games that players downloaded the most on PlayStation 4/5 in the US, Canada, and Europe in the entire year of 2023.

In the US and Canada, Hogwarts Legacy became the leader on PlayStation 5, and in Europe, EA Sports FC 24. Players on current-generation consoles also actively downloaded Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Grand Theft Auto V, and various sports simulators.

The situation is slightly different on PlayStation 4. In the US and Canada, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is on top. In Europe, EA Sports FC 24 is also in first place.
