Netflix has unveiled the first full-length trailer for Avatar: The Last Airbender
In less than a month, the live-action version of Avatar: The Last Airbender will premiere and Netflix has finally unveiled a full trailer that reveals the plot and characters.
Here's What We Know
Gordon Cormier will play the main character, alongside Elizabeth Yu and Daniel Dae Kim.
The story will be about a 12-year-old Aang who learns to master all four elements - Water, Earth, Fire and Air - to save his world from the ruthless Fire Nation.
The trailer is very emotional and packed with touching moments. We see Sokka and Katara discover Aang frozen in time, but after he breaks out of this century-old trap, the guys have hope of salvation.
-"The Fire Nation has destroyed everything in their path" Katara in a later scene. "If the world is gonna have any chance, it's gonna need Aang!".
Fans of the original Nickelodeon cartoon must have noticed that the trailer is missing Toph, Aang's blind mentor who possesses the art of controlling earth and, later, metal. It is important to note that she only appeared in the second season of the original cartoon, so there is a possibility of her appearing in future episodes.
