Despite the fact that NieR Re[in]carnation, the free-to-play mobile spin-off of the NieR series, did not turn out to be the game fans had hoped for, it still had some success. The game was launched in Japan in early 2021 and in the West at the end of the same year, but it will soon be closed.

Here's What We Know

According to Square Enix, the game's maintenance will end on 29 April, and the last chapter of the game's story, The People and the World, will be released on 28 March and will conclude the game.

The company thanked players for their support over the 2.5 years since the game's launch and said they will continue to add content and characters, as well as events and campaigns until the end of the service. They also encouraged players to enjoy NieR Re[in]carnation while it lasts.

Before the final update, the game will also receive new story and content updates, new events, new missions, and more.
