The next game in the Five Nights at Freddy's universe is called Into the Pit and is made in a pixelated 2D style
Probably only the most devoted Five Nights at Freddy's fans are not confused about how many games already exist in this franchise. And with the series living its second life, various projects, such as games and films, continue to be developed. Now we have more information about the upcoming game.
Here's What We Know
First, a trailer for the next instalment was leaked, called Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit. By the way, there is already a book in this universe with the same name.
Reddit even banned discussion of it, but the creator of the universe, Scott Cawthon, said that the trailer was okay to talk about. Of course, he would have liked to keep it a secret for a little longer, but the trailer has appeared and there is no escaping it.
Thanks to the trailer, we can understand that it will be a pixelated 2D game. We were shown one of the antagonists of the Spring Bonnie series and a little boy who is hiding from him. Mega Cat Studios is developing the game, and so far, it has an interesting concept, because we have not seen anything similar in the history of FNAF.
When We Can Expect It
The release will take place on the 10th anniversary of the series - 18 August 2024. However, it is not yet known on which platforms the game will be released (definitely on PC). But at the same time, we are concerned about another question: will there be an enthusiast who wants to make a port of the game to the PSP?
