The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered in the UK launches twice as many copies as The Last of Us Part 1
Naughty Dog has been the subject of much criticism recently for its heavy emphasis on re-releases, but it appears that this strategy is paying off for both Naughty Dog and Sony as they expect The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered hit shelves last week and has had a successful start, reaching number three in the UK weekly physical sales rankings.
Here's What We Know
Christopher Dring from GamesIndustry reported on his Twitter account that at the time of its release, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered managed to sell twice as many copies as Naughty Dog's remake of The Last of Us Part 1 for PS5, which was released in the UK in 2022:
Not only players, but also critics liked the game, who rated it 91 out of 100 on OpenCritic and a similar 91 out of 100 on Metacritic.

The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered is available to play on PlayStation 5 only.
