Bloomberg: new iPad Pro and MacBook Air are in production and will be unveiled at the end of March
In the latest edition of his Power On newsletter, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reported that Apple is expected to hold a presentation at the end of March to debut updated tablet and laptop models.
Here's What We Know
So, the new iPad Pro and MacBook Air are already in production. In addition, the iPad Air is expected to be announced in March. Since Apple didn't release a single tablet in 2023 for the first time in years, the entire iPad series should get an update this year.
The main feature of the iPad Pro will be the move to OLED displays, which offer richer colours, contrast and possibly some energy efficiency gains. And in the recent beta version of iOS 17.4 found information that the iPad Pro will also differ in the location of the camera: it will finally move from the top frame to the side, so that during video conferences the tablet will be convenient to use in landscape orientation.
And in the iPad Air lineup for the first time will be a large model with a 12.9-inch screen. So far, only the iPad Pro has one.
MacBook Air laptops will be available in two versions: 13-inch and 15-inch screens. They will retain the same design, but both will be equipped with the M3 processor, which will be the main update.
