Xiaomi to launch mass production of SU7 electric car in February
According to Chinese media, Xiaomi is preparing to launch mass production of the SU7 electric car.

If everything goes according to plan, the first serial versions of the auto will start producing in the middle or end of February. At the first stages, the company plans to produce about 2000 cars. Then the production capacity will be gradually increased. By July, Xiaomi is going to increase this figure to 10,000 cars. Then the company will keep the bar at this level. As for the first deliveries of SU7, they may start in spring.

Xiaomi showed its electric car at the end of 2023. The car will be able to travel up to 800 kilometres on a single charge. In addition, the novelty will get support for fast charging (up to 220 km in 5 minutes and up to 510 km in 15 minutes). SU7 will come with several driving modes, Brembo braking system and different safety assistants. The car will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.78 seconds and to 200 km/h in 10.67 seconds. In China, the car will cost from 250,000 yuan. This is about €32,800 or $35,210. Whether the novelty will appear on the global market is still unknown.
