A competitor to the Tesla Model Y, Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6: Rivian has revealed the first teaser of the R2 electric SUV

Rivian, ahead of its launch on 7 March, has published the first video teaser of the new R2 electric SUV.

Here's What We Know

At the end of the promotional video you can see the front end of the R2. The novelty will get the same headlights as the Rivian R1T and Rivian R1S, but the car will be more compact.

Unfortunately, there are not many details about the electric car. It is known that the car will compete with Tesla Model Y, Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6 and will cost about $50,000. By the way, it will be the company's cheapest car. For comparison, the current Rivian R1T and Rivian R1S models cost over $73,000 in the US.
