Allies plan to provide Ukraine with artificial intelligence drones
The UK is working with allies, including the US, to supply Ukraine with thousands of state-of-the-art AI drones that could operate in swarm mode.
Here's What We Know
Western countries are developing a technology that could combine drones into a single system using AI. It is noted that such drones will be sent to Ukraine in the coming months, but the timing may change.
Such drones will not create a great advantage in the heat of battle and will not replace artillery, but they will help Ukrainian soldiers repel attacks or retake territory.
Admiral Rob Bauer, chairman of NATO's military committee, told Bloomberg that the combination of drones and artificial intelligence could be "more successful than Russian artillery fire". According to him, there is an "endless race" with Russia to develop advanced technologies.
