Here's What We Know

Journalist Roland Quandt in his Twitter as well as German website WinFuture published new details and press images of the Galaxy Fit 3. It is reported that the device will support all the basic features of this class of devices. Such as step counting, sleep monitoring, calorie burn review, stress monitoring, various workout modes including a workout mode for swimmers, and the ability to use it for cycle tracking. Of course, heart rate and blood oxygen saturation can also be determined with the Galaxy Fit 3. Like its predecessor, the device will come with a silicone strap in several colour options. The body of the Fit 3 will be made of aluminium.

According to the source, the Galaxy Fit 3 will feature a 1.6-inch display with a resolution of 402×256 pixels and an AMOLED panel. On the software side, the device will run its own lightweight OS and will come with over 100 pre-installed watch faces. It is rumoured that the wearable device will be equipped with 16MB of RAM and 256MB of storage. The tracker, which is 9.9 millimetres thick and weighs 18.5 grams, has a 208 mAh battery. According to the manufacturer's assurances, the battery capacity will last up to 14 days in normal robot mode. The manufacturer has decided not to add the AOD function to save charge.

It also became known that the device will be connected via Bluetooth 5.3 and, unfortunately, support for GPS and NFC will not be present.

Price & When We Can Expect It

If reports are to be believed, the Galaxy Fit 3 will be offered at a price of around $75-$100. Although the brand is yet to give an official confirmation. The devices are expected to hit the market in late February 2024.
